Do you have a baby or toddler and live the the Scandinavia area? If so, Babygarden is for you!


During Babygarten, infants and children under 2-years of age and their caregivers will share nursery rhymes, songs, finger plays, bounces and books, and enjoy a free-play period afterwards! This program is designed to nurture the bond between caregiver and child, and to provide the caregiver with language enriching activities that they can continue at home with their child.


Babygarten is a free program, available to all members of the public. No registration is necessary.


Babygarten takes place at the Scandinavia Public Library at 2:10 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

Children playing togetherChildren age 2-4 and their caregivers are invited to this program that incorporates age-appropriate stories, songs, rhymes and activities in a kid-friendly environment. Toddle Tales are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and are about 30 minutes long followed by play time. Younger and older children are welcome as well and may participate as they are able to.
