Two painted rocks on a wood surface. One rock says, "Choose kindness." The second rock has a frog painted on it and the words "Seek joy."

Kindness Rocks

Friday, September 29, 2017 - 2:15pm to 5:15pm

Paint a kindness rock at the library!

Kindness rocks are stones that have been painted with an uplifting image or message. They are frequently placed in inconspicuous public places for passers-by to find and be inspired by. You don't have to be a good artist to paint a kindness rock. You just need a good heart!

Paint and brushes will be supplied by the library. Bring your own stone from home. Stones should be smooth on at least one side, clean, and not larger than fist-sized. This activity is for ages 8 & up.

Wear old clothes as these paints may stain them.

A snack of pizza will be served at this free event that is open to the public.
